transfer contacts and sms help

I want to know if there's a way to transfer my contacts and sms from iphone 4 to my new samsung galaxy s2.

Import your contacts into your Gmail account by exporting a copy of them to a flash drive or DVD using your computer (make sure you are saving them in the proper format for Gmail). Then open Gmail on your computer and import the contacts.

From that time on, Gmail will keep them backed up and current on your android device.

You might have to send the sms to yourself to keep them - or copy content and past into an email (that you send to your gmail account).
