You can export contacts from Google/Gmail and then import them into iCloud.

From the Gmail website (preferably using a desktop browser). And, yes, to a file, which can then be imported on the iCloud website.

I dont get why in my gmail contacts apart from phones i have many email accounts! Why do email accounts appear on the contact list? Doesnt make sense!
