Transfer files from pc to imac

I have heaps of of mp3's and photos id like to put on my imac.

What is the best way to do this? do i have to buy anything ??

You could Put them on a portable HDD, or iPod, a flash drive, a DVD or set up a file sharing network between the two.

Do you have MP3 player ?

I think all MP3 players can be used to save files. Just attach it using USB cable and go to 'my computer' and use the MP3 device that shows.
You should try to empty your MP3 from music to make space.
I use my Sony HD5 MP3 player to transfer all my files from my old PC laptop to my iMac.

I've been uploading all my files to mediafire and downloading them... (BIG pain in the a$$)
