Hey guys do you know of any softwares that would allow me to move messages to my computer from iPhone so that I can save them so that I can restore my phone as new?

Thank you!

There's phoneview - or if you are using a mac, open Messages, the ones I use the most seen to show for me.

Does that mean we can sync iMessages between iPhone and MacBook just like Notes, Reminders, calendars? Even if we set up iPhone as new, as soon as we sign in to iCloud in iPhone we get all the messages back automatically???

so that I can restore my phone as new?

Thats a confusing phrase.
Can you restore your phone with the messages that were on it when backed up? Yes.
Can you set your phone up as new and will the messages sync down when iMessage logs in? No
Is there a way to backup the iMessage messages on the iPhone? No
Is there a way to backup your iMessages on your iMac to move them to a new Mac or restore them to your Mac? Yes (Baskup will enable this for instance)

Apple needs to let you sync your messages like they do with calendar, reminders etc

I went to the Apple Store to ask this question last year. I wanted to save all the SMS's between my partner and myself as a keepsake and because re-reading them all shows how our relationship has developed (for the better).
The Genius told me that there are Apps available that will export your conversations for you. However, these are not created by Apple and they require many permissions to access files in your phone. I looked into it, but I wasn't brave enough to get one. You can search for "Text to Email", or "Print Text Messages" and check them out.
I suppose that privacy won't matter for you in this case, because you can delete the App when you are finished, or it will be deleted anyway when you factory reset.
