Forgive my ignorance, but how do I transfer my iTunes library from my Mac G4 notebook (personal) to my PC notebook (personal/work)? They are sitting side-by-side, but I'm at a loss as to how to transfer. My old iPod, which was loaded with the library, has just been PC formatted and the library was erased.

Drag the folder named iTunes in the Mac's Music folder across to the My Music folder on the PC whilst iTunes is closed. Assuming you haven't modified the Advanced settings of iTunes on either machine, it then should be a matter of just opening iTunes on the PC and your files and playlists will be as they were on the Mac. :)

iTunes transfer

Thank you.
I linked both computers with a common USB cable. Nothing.
You're dealing with a guy (me) that usually has an IT professional at work cater to all my computing needs. However, I'm a inept loser at home. At work the IT guy will not touch any Apple product. How do I get the computers to "link?" Is the USB cable wrong? :(

When I bought my MacBook, I had both on my home network and set up file sharing. I then just dragged them all from my PC (old) to my MacBook (new). Me, being anal, only imported the protected files into iTunes. The ones ripped from CDs were just reripped into AAC (had them as mp3s on my PC).

If this is too much, just burn them as data onto a CD or DVD and transfer them that way.
