Transfer Mail Rules and Signatures

Moving from macos Monterey (Intel) to Ventura (Apple). In the past, I was able to simply transfer the appropriate files in the /MailData directory and the new system would ingest it all and I'd be fine. This doesn't seem to want to work any longer. Is there a new secret sauce to get this to work on Ventura?

Are you using Migration Assistant to migrate your account to new machine or are you upgrading to Ventura?

Nope, doing it all manually. Been bit in the past using MA, and being an old curmudgeon I haven't tried using it in a long while. Anyway, doing it by hand forces me to learn where things are and how things work being Apple's UI screen.

Never mind - I just brute-force re-entered them by hand.
