hi all... i need to do a reverse synch. how can i transfer the songs

from my ipod back to itunes without erasing the current mp3s listed

on itunes ?

On Windows -
1) Turn on Hidden & System Files
2) Navigate the iPods hidden files to find music
3) Copy files directly to iTunes, there they should regain their names (insted of the letter codes)

Alternate 2&3
2) Use Windows Seach to search the hidden files of the iPod for *.mp3
3) Drag results to iTunes.

On Mac -
1) Use a program like TinkerTool to view hidden & system files, restart finder
2) Navigate on iPod for music
3) Copy files directly into iTunes (my draging to either the window or icon).

Done.

folder but nothing comes up in the library. am i missing something ?

thanks for your help !!!!

Drag and drop them onto iTunes in the dock.

Also you might find a free application like [guide]Senuti[/guide] is more useful ;).
