I have a very old iPod Touch (non-Bluetooth, with 30 pin connector - probably more than 10 years old) that has a good deal of music on it. I have NOT used this iPod much at all in recent years, so I doubt that I remember its username and password.

Until now, I've been listening to the music on this iPod using a wired (audio out to my Sena headset) connection while riding my motorcycle. And I've been using a separate Bluetooth capable Motorcycle GPS communicating with my headset. It's now time to consolidate all of this stuff onto one device - an iPhone.

So:

1. Is there a way for someone at the Apple Store to transfer the music from my iPod to a new iPhone - even if I don't manage to recall the username and password on the iPod?

2. Which specific iPhone would you recommend for me? I hardly text all - it would be used for phone calls (I no longer have a land line), listening to music, GPS and a few motorcycle-related apps. Although this would be my first smartphone, I've had a number of iPads for years. I'm leaning towards Spectrum Mobile as my carrier, if that matters.

Thanks!

Bert
