I have just purchased a new imac desktop and want to transfer some of my microsft windows files (word docs, photos, etc) from my old desktop and laptop onto the imac. I have a data stick and a ethernet cable but am not too hot on how to do things like this. Can anyone please give me some easy to follow instructions on what I need to do? Thanks

Lists three ways to do transfers -- using an iPod or by networking your computers (the third is taking your computer to a Genius and letting them do it, but that's kinda silly IMHO :p). I actually used my iPod and it was a snap. You've got the ethernet cable, so it tells you how to plug 'em together and what to do from there.

This is really easy to do, but if more ?s, just ask :)
