Hi, I’ve recently bought a new iPad and have been trying to figure out the easiest way of transferring Pages document from the old iPad. My old pad is REALLY old to the point that it can only be updated to iOS 9 therefore using back up with the new one won’t work. I’m guessing it’s a case of hooking up to iTunes?

Upload your Pages documents to iCloud and they will be available on your new iPad when you access iCloud from the new iPad.
My old iPad is running iOS 7 when I try to upload to iCloud it tells me to update which I can’t.

Do you own a Mac? If you do, install iCloud Drive on your Mac, copy the Pages documents to the iCloud Drive folder on your Mac and they will then be available on your new iPad.

No Mac. I’ll try using iTunes. Just thought there might’ve been a quick way without having to connect to my PC.

You could try using Airdrop. Or just email the Pages to yourself and then download them to your new iPad.

iCloud migration wasn't available with that iOS version.
