Hey Hey... New here... This will be my first Iphone....

I'm with AT&T, and have a LG CU500, and I am going to transfer all my contacts to my sim card, but from what I remember, they lose all their profiles... ie... mobile, work, home..

When moving them from my sim card to the iphone can I re-edit them back to have their profiles...?

does your lg have a usb cable that can plug into your mac? If so, it should sync with your address book, then will sync from your mac to your iPhone

i believe that is the only way, if you want to do it from the iPhone itself. Unless you have bluetooth on your LG and can sync them to your computer and then to the iPhone. I'm not sure if you can bluetooth the contacts from your LG to the 3G. Maybe someone else can chime in and confirm that.

First off... sorry for not posting in the proper area, thanks for moving it for me.

Most of my contacts are single #'s, so its not a big deal for me to relabel them, but I was just curious if I had the ability with the Iphone to edit them that way after I transferred them back to the phone......

Appreciate the help guys...

My dad just got a new phone from AT&T (not an iPhone) about a month or so ago, and he said that all he did was ask the guy at the AT&T store to move his contacts to the new SIM, and that he had it done in about 2 minutes or so. Hope it helps.
