Hi
I know this is an old question, and issue, I also know there are plenty tutorials, which is why I'm posting this.
Here is what I have to do;
A friend has a 30GB ipod Video with more or less 13GB of music in it, all of his music was originally copied from his CD's (originals) to his GF's computer (PC Winblows) which she sold.
Now the guy wants to sync his iPod with a different computer, but he does not want to import all of his CD's again. His iPod is Windows formatted.
The solution I found, which is what I need confirmation if I'm right or wrong, is the following...
1- Copy all of his ipod's music to my Mac using Senuti.
2- Enable his ipod as a thumbdrive and copy all of his music as a big file
3- Plug his ipod to his computer (winblows again, yes I know I told him but his just stuburn) and copy the file in it. Then add to iTunes library the whole folder with all the music and boila?
3.1- Instead of using the iPod as a drive, burn the music folder in several dvds and the pass it to his new computer
Am I right? Can this be done?
Thanks
