I have about six months of photos on my iPhone that I want to transfer to my Mac.
- You used to be able to see the iPhone in Finder or Windows Explorer (I'm using Parallels W10) and simply choose and transfer there. Can't do that now, I suspect they want everyone to use the Cloud File system?
- If I try to Air Drop more than a few files it brings them all in at today's date which is worthless. Air Dropping seems to be a flaky way to do it- some transfers have the right date, some only today's date and if you choose too many pictures it seems to crash and do nothing.
So, what is the best way to bring these pictures in? I don't want to use "Photos" app although if there is a way to eventually break the photos out of the "Photos" library file I could do that.
Thanks for suggestions
