I purchased an app on the iphone, and for some reason it's not transferring to my list of apps in iTunes when I connect. Any ideas?

I also have an indicator that two files require updates, but that I can only do them through iTunes or wifi. When I connect, iTunes says no updates are necessary.

I've also been having this problem (and on or two others with iTunes recently but thats another story) i found that one of my apps transfered from the phone to the computer but the rest were stationary. I'm starting to wonder if its a problem with iTunes itself rather than anything else. So if anyone has any ideas i would like to second the request for help.

What I've been doing is whenever I download a new app on my iPhone, when I get home I download that same app in iTunes. I get a message saying that I've already purchased this item and I just hit okay and then it downloads. Then when I sync the iPhone the app shows up in the list of apps to sync.

I find that they don't always automatically sync, so I do it manually (File>Transfer Purchases from xxxxx). That usually does the trick, though I will do it twice just to make sure that they all got transferred.

I have the same issue here as well. I have not tried an itunes song yet but will see if that transfers.

Same here. Downloaded an app on the computer the other night and it wouldn't sync to the phone, even after several attempts. It was the first time I'd run into any trouble. I ended up downloading it from the phone. It claimed I already owned the app and asked me if I wanted to update it.

Whatever works.

1. Select the device in the left pane on iTunes under 'Devices'.
2. Select 'Transfer Purchases'

iTunes will look at your account, realise you've bought the application,
and sync it back up to your main library.
