Transfering UK iPhone to The Netherlands

Hi,
I hope this is in the correct section.
I have a UK Pay as you go iPhone 3G with 02. I am moving to the Netherlands as was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to use this with T-Mobile, the current Dutch iPhone service provider, preferably with pay as you go but could do contract if necessary.

If u have have had it 12 months contact o2 and have it unlocked then simply move put the new sim in and sync.

If it's not 12 months then jailbreak
