Transferring AppleCare-how?

Hello! First thanks for looking! I know I saw a thread on this a while back but I can't seem to find it with the search, does anyone know where to get info on how to transfer AppleCare (more specifically for an Apple Cinema Display if it makes a difference) or has done it and knows how to do it? Thanks in advance!

Scroll down to the terms and conditions (lower right side), and in there is a section on what to do to transfer the plan.
