Just received my iPhone 15 Pro Max and transferring data from my 12 Pro Max. I chose to transfer from iphone to iphone but neither phone is using WiFi for some reason. Assuming just using bluetooth?? Both phones were on wifi until it started then disconnected. I've tried this twice and it's doing the same thing.

The timing remaining started at 7 hours and has since went down to 4 hours.

Anyone know why it's not using wifi and if I should just do it via iCloud instead? I'm hoping it won't actually take 4 hours but I'd rather not wait 2 hours to see how long this will take.

Thanks in advance for any help!

You can prepare migration in your 12 via iCloud and sync your 15 via iCloud. If you have a Mac, sync via that.

Thanks! I ended up canceling the iPhone to iPhone and just did it via iCloud and it worked fine
