Transferring documents from iPad to mini & ran into a permissions problem

Hi Folks got this weird message from my mini this morning while attempting to transfer documents from iPad through iTunes. This is a transaction that I carry out seamlessly two or three times a day. This time, it didn't work. Had to go to the iMac and get the iPad documents from there. There was no such problem with the other Mac. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?

BTW, I'm running Mavericks!
