Last night I initiated the transfer of email, using POP, from my old gmail/Google Apps account to a new account that I just set up.
I am transferring about 20GB of email from 2007 and I thought I set it up to transfer both old and new email.
About twelves hour into the transfer, I have received all email from 2007 to 2010. I am expecting it to take another day or two to transfer all of my old email through 2017.
My question is, will new email sent to the old account only start transferring once the backlog is transferred? I would have thought new email would transfer more quickly. Just curious if anyone has been through this before.
