iPad Pro Transferring everything from one iPad to another?

I want to take a 9.7 32GB IPP first gen and mirror everything from it to another 9.7 first gen 128GB iPP that is already being used. Do I need to wipe the 128GB iPP first? How is this done with Catalina? Do I plug the first iPad into the Mac and I'm guessing it will prompt me to back it up and then I plug the second iPad in and I will be somehow given the option to restore from the other iPad?

How is this done with Catalina?

You should be able to find all the data transferring options in Finder.
