Transferring files OSX - Vista

I was wandering if there was a good, FREE program that lets you transfer files between NTFS and OS Extended. There is MacDrive for Windows but it's expensive.

thats the only program ive ever found to do the job. in my eyes, its worth every penny

No, MS won't publish NTFS's specification so writing to it is troublesome with open-source utilities for the Mac/Linux. Apple does publish HFS and so MacDrive is the best choice (there are no free similar programs for Windows).
