I am using Thunderbird v102.6.1 on mac running ventura 13.1
I want to replace Thunderbird with the Mail app v16.0 so I need to copy all my emails, contacts etc from TB to Mail.
I have searched the web for help but all help available seems to apply to earlier versions of TB and macos so that menu options no longer exist or when they do exist, they do not work as described.
I have made a zip file of the TB profile I want to move into Mail - can I do this? If so how?
I have a vcard file of contacts from TB. How do I import this to Mail?
Any updated help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don’t use TB. However, I believe you can export email in MBOX format which Apple Mail can import. First, if you are using IMAP protocol to connect to your email service then you shouldn’t have to export/import anything. With IMAP, all your messages should be stored on the email server. Simply set up your account in Apple Mail and your messages will load. Since Apple Mail is loading email messages, it will load the email addresses in the messages. vCard file can most likely be imported into Contacts app.
