Hi,

I have pwned my 1.1.4 iPod Touch and have had very few problems.

I am trying to install this wikipedia app but am struggling. Every time I try to transfer over the database (approx 2.5GB xml file) to the Touch using either Cyberduck or FileZilla (I am using 10.5.2) the transfer gets a variable amount of the way in (about 400-500MB usually) but then the connection times out. I have set the time out period in the apps to about 60s but this does nothing.

Is there a more reliable way to transfer data instead of SSH over a wireless network? Is there any way of transferring data via the USB connection?

Thanks,

MadDoc,

Hello.

Use this: http://www.drakenza.com/Welcome.html

I've tried it, and it works great. I found it on MMI as well, so it's legit. Use the file manager, and you can choose to put a file from your computer on the iPhone (like in your case) or take a file from the iPhone and put it on the computer.

And of course, it is through the USB.

Good luck.
