Greetings to all!
I am relatively new to Macs and have much to learn. It appears this is the place to be. Thank you in advance for any help. I have a Macbook, one of the first Intel ones. I am running the most current version of Itunes. My problem is this... I want to dump all of my music from my internal drive to my external drive due to space issues. When I have tried this and erased all of the tunes from my Mac drive it also erases them from my external drive. How may I prevent this? I would appreciate any feedback to this problem as I have a rather large cd collection and starting over is very time consuming.
P.S. I hope the rumors of an upgraded Imac are true... I want to get one soon.
