Ive taken pictures with my iPhone6S, how many ways are there to transfer those pics to my iMac?
 
Can you be a little more explanatory?
Connect your iPhone to your Mac via your lightning cable. Select image capture from your applications folder. A window should pop up showing all the photos in your camera roll, so simply select which photos you wish to import.

Myself, I would use airdrop (or instashare, since my iMac doesn't support airdrop to iOS devices).

assuming same apple id tuning on my photo stream on phone and on the mac should cause photos to be synced automaticaly
