Can someone please help me out here.

Each and every time I sync my iPhone it always takes about 5-7 minutes 'transferring purchases'. It always goes through various apps that I have and takes it's sweet time doing so before it starts syncing new music or photos. This is a pain in the *** for me because most of the time I sync, I'm just adding a new song or album and dont want to wait for all this transfer nonsense.

Why does it keep saying it's transferring purchases that it has already transferred multiple times. Is there a way to disable the transfer, or atleast get my Mac to realize that it has already transferred specific apps?

HELP!!

i recently noticed the same for my itouch

i can't confirm that this worked 100% for me yet but i think it has helped. I "repurchased" the apps though itunes on my computer (it didn't cost any more) for all of the apps that it was transfering - which seemed to be the apps i got strait on my itouch through the wifi.
