I have created smart folders on my old mac that I want to transfer to my new one. Just to be clear, I do not want to transfer the content, but only the "definition" or "programming".

For example, I have tried drag and drop contact smart folders using screen sharing but that does not work...

Any idea?

Maybe copying the smart foder file from the Libary might work, but I cannot find them...

They are kept in the folder below. ~ = your users folder.

Just go to Finder then shift-command-g and paste in the below text and enter.

Code:
~/Library/Saved Searches
