Transferring to new Apple ID challenges?

Hi,

Since iCloud asks you to make a @me.com e-mail address for mail syncing I figured I might as well use that @me.com address as my apple ID, and my main e-mail from now on. Of course I would like to keep all my apps. Is this a possibility?

Yes, go here: https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ --> Manage my account --> Login --> Name, ID and Email Addresses --> enter new email address --> verify new email address --> change new email address to primary email address --> (optional) delete old email address
