I just sold my imac (long story . . . basically I'm being forced back into the world of windoze because of a new job). Is there any paperwork I need to do to transfer the remainder of my 1 year warranty to the buyer?

No, the 1 year warranty doesn't need to be transferred, only the Apple Care Protection Plan does. So, you're fine.

it would be good if you give the buyer a copy of your original receipt so they can prove when the original purchase date was if they should ever need warranty work.......sometimes apple doesn't have the correct date in their system so it's good to have the receipt
