Is anyone using the Transintl Pro Sled with a SSD on their Mac Pro?

http://transintl.com/store/category.cfm?category=2787

I recently bought two ICY Dock's and both did not work for some reason. I can verify that the SSD is fine because it works in the lower DVD drive bay using the SATA cable.

My concern, which has been brought up here before, is that metal "tab" on the main board just below the on-board SATA connector. Does it need to make contact for it to work?

Thanks in advance,

Desmo

I have had rare connection problems with an Intel SSD and the Icy Dock. Usually the problem would be corrected by reseating the drive, firmly closing the cover, and then firmly inserting the drive back in the bay.

Short answer is no, it doesn't need to make contact. I mistakingly thought it did and that was causing my SSD problem (it wasn't). :).
