Transitioning from Google Calendar to iCloud without iCal

So I am hoping someone will be able to help me. I have been trying to transition my googlecalendar content over to icloud. However, it doesn't seem like apple has provided us with much control over the settings of our icloud calendars. there is no option to import or subscribe to another calendar.

however, from the research that i have done, it seems like its pretty easy to circumvent with iCal. Unfortunately, I dont have a Mac.

Does anyone have any idea how I can transition my googlecalendar content over to icloud?

I am using ical and can't figure it out...icloud isn't using my ical info

Need Google/iCloud Sync without iCal

I do not have a mac. Do not plan on buying one anytime soon. I would like to sync with out have to use a work around that only works with a mac.

Not sure if this will work for calendar.....

1. Setup Google as exchange and turn on calendar sync
2. In Mail settings for that Google acct, turn off calendar sync and DO NOT delete from iPhone.
3. Turn on calendar sync on the iCloud acct.

Someone posted in another thread that this worked for google-to-iCloud contacts.
