Translation iOS 11

I have iOS 11 on my iPad Pro and iPhone 7 and I am from the uk but when I ask Siri to translate it says he can’t translate from British English yet di is it not available in the uk yet. Thanks.

It apparently can't translate "Canadian English" either. Lame!

Just changed the Siri language and it works now.

I couldn't translate from Spanish (from Spain) to English. Apparently this feature only works from US English.
