Quick scan of the issues didn't show me anything.I have Transmission 3.00 and it was working fine, but now it starts downloading for about an hour then it just stops downloading. Does anyone know if I have to change something in the Preferences section?

That's only for queuing transfers, though; so it's about getting more torrents going from the inactive queue. Also check the "Transfer is stalled when inactive..." setting.

You may need to enable UPnP in the router for that to work. In mine it's disabled by default.I had the same issue and disappeared when enabling "Enable Micro Transport Protocol" in Transmission preferences.
Unless I'm wrong, it looks like the last release was May 2020.Doing some reading around I think Transmission is broken. Other Mac users experiencing the same issue.
Not news according to this thread which suggests Transmission is abandoned? I hope not

Transmission is freeware that is developed by volunteers basically, so updates come when they are actually ready for prime time. It's always been rock solid here. It is not broken whatsoever for me. Been using it for years and using 3.0 now without any issues on 11.3.1. with 30 torrents. The OP should make sure his ports are open.Doing some reading around I think Transmission is broken.
