ny somewhere
i checked "reduce transparency" while running PB3; just installed PB4, and unchecked it...and nothing changed. any idea how i can 'force' transparency on?? not urgent (but, i guess, urgent enough for me to post this :cool: )....

Did you try rebooting after unchecking it to bring back transparency? If that doesn't work, I have no clue. I've always have had transparency since Yosemite beta and never played around with the reduce toggle even to this day.

i have rebooted, but...will try it again. may delete the system prefs file first...

EDIT: worked this time (deleted the sys prefs pref file, and rebooted).
