Hey guys,

I used Mirage for making my dock transparent all the time before 10.8.4 - unfortunately it's not working anymore now.

Do you have any idea or other tools that might work to remove the dock background?

Cheers
Alex

From what I know, Apple locked down the dock in such a way as to no longer make it possible to customize. This was done with the introduction of Mountain Lion. App like Candy Bar no longer can change the Dock.

Oh, okay. Too bad. I really liked the style without the background. :(

Mirage works for me on 10.8.4

Not sure why yours isn't

mirage working here 10.8.4 as well.

try deleting the preference files for the dock, perhaps. and maybe finder prefs... repair permissions?

something is keeping it from working. did this happen when u updated to 10.8.4??

Well I tried installing it on a fresh version of 10.8.4 cause I just got the retina MacBook. On my old imac it worked perfectly. :/
