This HD is from a PC that I had a few years ago. I had virus problems and replaced it. It has some files that I'd like to have in my MacBook.

Any precautions I should take? Should I not worry about anything or should I not even try it.

Thanks
Lawrence

PC viruses can NOT infect your Mac running OS X, so you should be safe

While they can't get infected, obviously they can be carriers.

The only thing I would suggest, is scanning the files with an anti-virus client to ensure you don't infect any future Windows computers.
