Trash doesn't empty at first try

With every new update of Bug Sur, there are a slew of new bugs rather than fixes to old bugs. Apple completely ruined the competent TextEdit with Big Sur, and they haven't been able to fix it fully this far.

With the obligatory supplemental update 11.3.1, you now also have to empty the trash TWO times, because it doesn't do anything the first round. Yet again a bug with the most rudimentary functions of an OS.

What issues are you seeing with TextEdit?

Never seen the issue with having to empty the trash twice.
