Hi,

Thanks again for help with my updating to Monterey.
All set now.

Question Re MAIL:

On the left vertical going sidebar, there are Folders under:
On My Mac

And, another section further down with:
Comcast

Both have a Trash Folder.

How do I designate which of them I want all my eMails that I Trash be used to hold them (the ones I trash) ?

And, not important, but any way to make these folder icons a different color, or darker ?

Thanks,
Bob

In general, if you delete a file in "On my Mac," it goes into the "On my Mac" trash folder. In your ISP (Comcast's) mail, deleting a file should put it into the Comcast Trash. Each account should have its own, separate trash folder.

Hi,
As always, thanks for help.

I wasn't too clear:

Every day I have a zillion eMails that come in and are shown in MAIL.
For the ones I simply delete from this IN eMail daily compilation list, how do I pick "which" Trash Folder
is used for them, and how to , perhaps, change the default one ?
