Greetings all.
i have a .aif music file stuck in my trash. it says its in use however i close everything down and still to no avail. its been like this for a good number of days. does anyone know an easy way to rid myself of it. maybe repairing permissions or zapping pram or something?? any ideas.

oo one other thing can anyone suggest a free wma-mp3 converter??
its a real hassle not being able to convert my audio files on my pc into mp3
(all my cd's are at home and im at uni)
thank you
Lj

If all else fails, use Terminal:

Code:
cd ~/.Trash/
sudo rm -f myFile.aif
<enter password>

if your aif file has spaces in the filename you will need to escape them with a backslash such as

Code:
sudo rm -f my\ File\ Spaces.aif

Sadly, eayswma is no longer just donationware. If you can get a hold of an old copy, use that. (If you're cheap that is :p)

It's $10 via PayPal to support a starving Mac programmer. It's not like Windows where it's $30 for the same thing.
