Jailbreaking is legal. You have nothing to worry about.

If you're going into Apple Store though, restore to stock.

Apple is above the law, and can make its own rules. ;P

Nothing wrong with your phone being jailbroken. In addition to all the posts above, I also recommend that you don't install any new tweaks when you are away from your PC and traveling. New tweaks can be unstable and leave you with a non-working phone temporarily.
