You control a treasure hunter, who must collect all the treasures on a one screen level, while avoiding enemies who try to catch you.
To avid them, you can dig holes to trap them. Over time, the holes would regenerate back into walls, and if an enemy is still trapped, it dies.
After collecting all the treasures, you must climb on the top of the level.

Collect all the treasures on each of 100 levels. Run from enemies or trap them by digging a hole for them.
Retro style game play and graphics.

Treasure Runner is a universal app.

- Optional level missions for extra bonus

Where is that game offered?
A Lode Runner knockoff...

Thank you for your comment!

It will be available soon on AppStore -at least I hope so-, I just finished testing it, and it will be sent for approval within days.

As for being a "Lode Runner knockoff", let's say, it based on it. :)

Lode Runner is one of my big time favourite, and in 2011 there was no official port of it on the AppStore, and all the Lode Runner like games had some flaws, so I decided to create one myself.
Then when the official port released, I was a way too close to finish it, so I decided to publish it, but before that I have added some extra -that is Survival Mode and Psycho Mode, two extra game modes that can be unlocked by completing Normal Mode.
Anyway, you can threat it like a facelift and extra levels for the original port, as you see, I tried to make the gfx to look like an Amiga game, and all the levels are new.

Great!

I love Lode Runner. I didn't play on any of the systems where these ports are coming.
I did play it on an Apple II+ and the Mac in the 80s.
Therefore the look and feel in general I don't like it, please don't be put down by this comment.
What I mean by this is if you can enable a setting in the game to adjust the game to look and feel like those: black and white like the original Mac game, or black and green like the Apple II version, and the color version of it.
The sounds are key.

What I also didn't like with the ports is the response of the on screen controls.
Could this be set up to play with a Bluetooth keyboard?
Or any of the game controllers?

Thanks and please continue developing it!

I played it on ZX Spectrum during the '80s, and I still play it sometimes, even the new ports.

As for the classic look and feel, I am afraid that I can not make it due to copyright reason. I planned to make a "classic mode" with recreated "original-like" graphics and sound, but decided to drop that after I saw Lode Runner clones with original look and feel got deleted form the AppStore.

The controls were one of the flaws I have mentioned before, and so I tried to make the controls of my game to be as responsible as possible. No external controller support yet, but I am planning to make some new features and that may be one of them. Anyway there will be a free version as well, so you can try it for free, and see if the controlls are OK. :)

Great!

Congratulations!

I played a few levels, some suggestions:
- Allow Landscape mode to have the controls comfortably located for playing with the iPhone
- As a former old school keyboard player it still feels really weird to play with the touch screen, however it is way better than any previous similar games out there
- with the monks chasing will be difficult to master...

Thank you, and thank you for the suggestions as well.
Landscape mode is one of the future plans, so is an option to choose from left or right handed controls.
I am glad that you like my game's touch screen handling, I tested and worked on it quite hard, still not perfect (can not handle quick and wide gestrudes), but works quite well I think.

Treasure Runner v1.1 is on the App Store!
- Added iCade support. First app ever that lets you redefine the iCade buttons!
- Added landscape mode
- Added support for left handed controls
- Lame app icon and lame main screen has been changed.

- Minor bug fixes
- A few other small changes

You just fixed my weekend!!!

Glad to hear that! :)
If you have any more request, just let me know, and I'll see if I can make it. My goal is to make this game as perfect as it can be, so every request or suggestion is welcome.
I am someone who hates the modal "Rate it" dialogs, and I will not put it in to Treasure Runner, but I would be glad, if you -or any other reader- would rate it on the App Store. :)
Thank you very much!
