So on the new iMac there is a trial iWork and Office Mac?

Can i just purchase a iWork Key of apple.ca and use it in the trial and get the full version?

And office? how would i uninstall this?cause i have the actual cds for this?

My understanding is that you'll have to purchase a physical iWork '08 disc.

As for Office, if you haven't launched any of the Office apps, you can simply drag the Office folder to the Trash and empty it. Then just install your full version. If you've launched any of the trial version apps, use the included "Remove Office" app to remove it from your system before installing the full version.

May I ask why do you want to buy iWork if you already have MS Office? Please don't misunderstand as I have iWork 08 and love it and use instead of MS Office but I am wondering why do you need both?

Nooooooo, you can purchase the key itself from iWork.. just open iWork 08 and it will ask you to insert the key, buy the key or use it for a trial. Ive purchased the key without buying the CD. works fine!

Well there you go. That's what I get for spouting out about stuff when I'm uninformed.

I stand by my Office advice though. :p :D

Same here. Keynote is so much better. PowerPoint has the same, boring, ugly templates and transitions. This school year, I'll be doing a ton of presentations. Thank god we have an all-Mac school.
