Tribes 2 or Vengeance for mac ?

I'm confused, did these games ever get a release for mac or not? Some pages say yes, some say n, but I cn't find it anywhere! The PC version became free, so 'm looking for the free mac version obviously!

I don't think Tribes was ever released for Mac. Tribes 2 was supposed to be but wasn't. Tribes Vengeance pretty much flopped so there was not plans for Mac for that one.

awwww, much as I feared... I know T:V was not too good, maps were too small imo. What's the best way to run T2 then? Does it work with crossover for example? I don't really want to install windows on this laptop..

tribes 2 is amazing! way way ahead of its time

doubt it would work in crossover..i run it in bootcamp via vista on occasion tho. Are there any servers left?

in #basemixed on quakenet they organize fantastic wars occasionally, but you have to be good to be able to play or they never invite you again (if you can ski and know the maps, and don't aim like a boot you should be ok)
