Tried to custom restore to 4.2 GM and now stuck in recovery mode???

Was running 3.2 Jailbroken

Now can't restore either with the 4.2 GM or with the 3.2.2 from Apple.
Stuck in restore mode.
Tried Pwnage tool, recboot, nothing works.
The closest apple store is 2 hours drive, I do not want to drive it.
Help?

Recboot has never failed me. You must be doing something wrong. Plug in back into itunes and make sure recboot is open and recognizes you device in recovery mode and use recboot to kick it back out. Its pretty simple.

I had a bunch of trouble as well, I just kept trying and eventually it worked.
