I’m experimenting with self portraits using my iPhone X. Standing in front of it from a distance can I trigger it remotely and have the picture appear on my iPad Pro located close to me? Thanks

As long as iCloud sync is turned on and the phone is charging it’ll automatically upload to photos and you’ll find it in your iPad.

If you have an Apple Watch you can use that to trigger the picture. From there the comment from Akash should take care of the rest.

In order to trigger remotely you could use a connected Apple Watch, purchase a bluetooth camera remote, or look for an app that could be installed on both devices to provide this functionality (a quick search turned up WiFi Camera which might do what you want).

Thanks. I remembered I have a Jobe Bluetooth remote, that takes care of remotely triggering the iPhone. Now it’s just a matter of using the right app so that I can see on the iPad what the iPhone camera see’s and the photo it has taken.
