Hi, this is what im trying to do. I'm using the sound in on my G4 to import a bunch of cassettes from collection. The songs are on a bunch of cassettes so I can't do iTunes CD import. Only way I can think of is sound in.
Since the songs are on cassette it would take hours to press record on the computer then play on the cassette player for every song!

What I'm really looking for is an audio app that can record to a format that itunes will reconize (MP3 would be the best) and make new sound files when it hears the (1 second) silence between each song. My minidisk player was able to do this. It would stop recording "File one" when it heard the silence between songs and then started "File two" once there was sound again.

Please Please. Is there any app like this for OS X or OS 9? I need a bunch of songs from them for a school movie thats coming up.

Thanks a lot!!!:)

You should be able to import them with Roxio Toast Titanium's included CD Spin Doctor.
