I'm trying to create a trip journal/blog. The idea is to basically setup a blog that selected users can post text and images on.
I installed and edited WordPress to my liking (just rearranging some of the php tags), but to my dismay images are not working properly. When a user posts a photo it doesn't resize them or anything. No thumbnails, it looks terrible. I know they could be resized by hand, but the point is to make this easy for the people who will be adding to the blog. Does anyone know how to get WordPress to auto resize photos so that they show up properly? Is there another blogging software I can look at, preferably with a similar feature set?
I want to keep this local (so no Blogger).
