Right, I spent hours yesterday trying to get everything PERFECT, but I failed.

I partitioned my HD 3 ways, installed leopard on one partition.

I installed rEFIt using the .dmg package (auto)

vista installed on another patition (NOT using bootcamp)

I installed the bootcamp tools using the CD onto vista

Installed seven on the third partition, but I was greeted with a boot manager missing error so I gave up!

Anyone got any clues before I jump in doing it all again?

I did a fresh install of windows 7 on a PC laptop and it automatically created a 200MB partition. The only file on this partition was BOOTSECT.BAK. I'm a total newbie but I thought this might be a possible reason 7 won't boot with your setup.

I saw the same thing while trying something out in a VM

I wonder if that should be deleted? or modded somehow =/

Right'o

Does anyone know if you use the boot camp assistant to create the partition that the link is referring to? I've done this too many times to make a mistake this time!
