I like having the Reduce White Point shortcut set to triple clicking the side button so I can run the OLED display at a dramatically lower brightness at night. It's always been instantaneous on my 12 Pro Max and 13 Pro Max, but now with 15.2 there's a pretty big delay between triple clicking and the action triggering. I don't have any other shortcuts or accessibility controls enabled as far as I can see, and nothing has changed other than the jump to 15.2. It's like the accessibility shortcut lag of generations past.

Are they paving the way for a quadruple click or something? I can't see why this delay would be added otherwise. Is anyone else seeing this?

I have not seen a change. I use triple click for the same thing you do and it has working normally on 15.2.. There are some glitches that don't affect all users so you may not be alone.. Maybe others will chime in on there experience

Yeah it's weird - yours activates reduce white point the instant the button is clicked for the third time? I've tried just about every setting including toggling the feature off and on again but it's got like a 1.5 second delay before it activates still. It's ultimately minor but it just makes the phone feel more sluggish for no reason.

Curious if anyone else uses this feature and if it's got the added delay or not.

Well I'd say I have about a second delay before it switches (definitely not instant) but that's the way it always has been for me
