Looks like 3 cameras, flash, and one additional sensor (ToF)?

What makes this leak authentic are the detailed references to the type of stainless steels and the exact model of laser welding machines used. Foxconn has a hidden document hosted on their website outlining they have 402 of these machines in Zhengzhou. Your typical fake leaker isn't going read Chinese or go into such detail.

Good find. Undoubtably this is legitimate. If I recall correctly, there was some similar diagrams that was reported by Slashleaks for the 2017 X that were on par for design cues/elements.

The real question is not that we don’t expect a triple lens camera, but does Apple make this exclusive to the Max only or for both sizes. (5.8/6.5).

Without a triple lens on the 5.8" model, I think it would be difficult for Apple to justify $999 for it. Given virtually all mainstream phones this year are coming with dual lens, I think an updated camera for the 5.8" is almost necessary.
